The Instrument Zoo program provides a fun hand-on introduction to the instruments of the orchestra and to the instrumental families - woodwinds, brass, strings and percussion. The instruments are demonstrated accompanied by brief explanations of how they work, then they are available for your group to give them a try!

The Instrument Zoo is available for schools, civic groups and some public events. Call the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra at (203) 574-4283 for details.

If you have an unused instrument that you would like to donate to the zoo, please call the WSO for information.
